PORTO

Porto, is the second largest city in Portugal. Due to its strong role in the history and its influence, it is also known as the capital of the North. Porto is a charming city composed of many beautiful landscapes longing the Douro River, the “river of gold”. Porto has an architectural complex of exceptional value, a fusion between Gothic and Romanesque architecture. In 1996, the city center was considered a World Heritage Site. Very elegant and peaceful, but also very developed. Porto was not a city to be conquered nor is it now. Porto’s port is very significant in Portuguese market, productions are very fruitful. The most famous productions are of olive oil and wine. In this city, you can enjoy a glass of wine by the riverfront, enjoy wonderful plates, walk around charming streets, wander around shops.
