Welcome to São Mamede 25 - São Mamede 25 is a high-end residential refurbishment in Lisbon's historic centre of Alfama. It is a typical Pombaline construction, a popular architectural style in Lisbon, and was built in the XIX century. It was built in the 19th century and has an interior patio, as was common in the workers' dwellings of the time.The main building consists of one apartment per floor with spacious rooms and an elevator that allows independent access to each floor directly in the apartments. The first floor and the 2 duplex apartments at the rear of the building have a private garden. The apartment on the 4th floor benefits from plenty of natural light and an incredible view of the river, thanks to several skylights, each with a small balcony.

The measure aims to remodel the entire building using the highest standards of construction, materials and finishes, while preserving the original architectural elements, such as the design of the façade and the openings. Additional balconies will be added to the rear façade of the building and the existing elements such as the tiles and Lioz stone in the interior and exterior will be preserved. We entrusted the refurbishment of the São Mamede building to the award-winning Portuguese architect Frederico Valsassina and his studio Frederico Valsassina Arquitectos, as they have extensive experience in urban refurbishment.
