CASTELO

Located above Sé, Castello is famous for its castle. It is mostly owned by the State to ensure it remains a working population here, and prevent it from changing. Almost a city within a city, the Castelo neighbourhood has some extraordinary views and charming lanes and buildings. The authenticity of this neighbourhood is seen through its coffee shops and restaurants, where you can walk around in it’s shaded streets on hot summer days.
